Any individual realtor or agency involved in ethical real estate business dealing with property sales and purchases can apply for the membership of AREA Group. However certain things that would be expected from those who apply for membership are narrated below.

  • Anyone applying for AREA GROUP membership must be ready to accept and adhere to all the principles and the code of conduct put in place by the body.
  • Such persons/agencies will work dedicatedly and consistently to promote the mission and visions of AREA Group.
  • Everyone looking for our membership is expected to contribute to the fulfillment of our common objectives such as –
    • Creating a common platform for mutual interaction between realtors.
    • Creating a common platform for effective interaction between realtors and clients/prospective clients.
    • Developing an environment of complete transparency, trust, and collaboration.
    • Improving the image of realtors and transforming it from "broker" to "consultant".

  • To be eligible for membership, you need to be –
    • A citizen of India.
    • Non-Resident Indian Citizens or NRIs can also apply for membership.
    • Must be 18 years or above in age.
    • Must be in the real estate business in the capacity of a realtor.
    • Must not be ineligible otherwise under the law of the land.
    • Must not have been convicted by any court of law for carrying out business in a fraudulent manner or for violating rules and regulations in any way.
    • Must have an unimpeachable reputation in the market.
    • Must be dealing with only quality products with clear titles.
    • Must not have been involved in any copyright or patenting issues.
    • There should be no major complaints against the realtor on account of quality of structures provided by him or her.
    • The prospective member should clearly appreciate the core principles on which the AREA Group works, which is that "customer welfare and satisfaction is the prime goal for any realtor".
    • Prospective members should have satisfactory infrastructure and mechanisms available with them/their agencies so as to cater to all the legal and other requirements of their clients.
    • The applicant needs to ensure that he or she or the agency will never get involved in any unfair or unhealthy competition with other members or anyone in the industry.
    • Prospective members should also abide by the principle that the sole motto of any realtor would be to serve and not exploit their clients.
    • Members should agree and abide by the code of conduct put in place by AREA Group, which is binding on them.

HOW TO REGISTER


Real estate business personnel from across the country as well as non-resident Indian traders in real estate can enroll to be part of the AREA Group. We accept both individual realtors and realtor enterprises as our members.

HOW TO ENROLL WITH THE AREA GROUP?


  • You need to fill in an application form with necessary details pertaining to membership. Click here to download the application form.
  • Pay the membership amount through a demand draft payable in any bank at Mumbai, and submit the application by person/registered post/speed post/courier services at our head office in Mumbai.
  • You can also apply online with the details of the demand draft/NEFT transaction depositing membership fees into the AREA Group bank account.
  • On receipt of your application and fees we will process the same. It will take 2-3 business days to complete the processing. Once the same is approved you will be
  • enrolled and your name/company name will be displayed on our membership list.
  • In the unlikely event of your membership not being accepted by us, the amount you have paid towards membership fees will be refunded to your bank account through NEFT.

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED FOR REGISTRATION


The following documents are required to be submitted for registration.

  • Application form correctly and completely filled out.
  • Demand draft towards membership fees payable in any bank in Mumbai.
  • Two passport size photographs of the individual/head of corporate office as the case may be.

DOCUMENTS PROVIDED TO YOU ON SUCCESSFUL REGISTRATION


On your enrollment as member, the following documents will be provided to you by AREA Group.

  • Receipt on account of your payment of membership fees.
  • Your membership registration number.
  • Your ID card with photograph affixed.
  • While the receipt and registration number can be generated online, the ID card with photograph will be sent to you by registered post with AD/Speed Post/Courier services to ensure proper delivery and acknowledgement.

OATH TAKING


As our valued member, you will be required to take an oath of allegiance and maintenance of the values and spirit of the organization. The ceremony will be held in our office once in a quarter for all new members who have registered during the past three months. You will be intimated sufficiently in advance to make it convenient for you to attend the ceremony. We will also send you a copy of our approved oath so in case you are unable to attend the ceremony for some unavoidable reasons, you can fill it out, sign and seal it, and send it to our head office.

MEMBER SUBSCRIPTION


Our member subscription rates are as follows.

  • Entrance Fees= Rs.15000/- (Non Refundable). The Subscription will need to be paid only once and it is not necessary to renew the same.
  • Annual Member Fees= Rs.6000/- (Non Refundable). The Subscription is for the one year and will have to be renewed every year.
  • Associate Member Fees= Rs.3000/- (Non Refundable). The Subscription is for per person & for the one year and will have to be renewed every year.
  • NAR-INDIA Member Fees= Rs.1000/- (Non Refundable). The Subscription is for the one year and will have to be renewed every year.
